Riverside County Transportation Commission Project to Require Nightly Closures

The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) has announced that its 7191 Interchange Project will require nightly closures of the 91 Freeway starting May 24, 2024. The closures will extend from the area where the 91 Freeway meets the 55 Freeway to Lakeview Avenue.

The closures will be in effect from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night and are expected to continue for several months. During the closures, all lanes of the 91 Freeway will be closed in both directions. Detours will be in place, but motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
